Emu Rib, Barramundi Wing & Chicken Feet Broth for Dogs

Ingredients

• 1 to 2 emu ribs
• 2 barramundi wings or frames
• 500g chicken feet
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• Filtered water to cover
• Optional:
• parsley
• celery tops
• fresh ginger slice
• turmeric slice or pinch turmeric

Method

1. Place emu ribs and chicken feet into a large stock pot or slow cooker.
2. Cover completely with filtered water and add apple cider vinegar.
3. Let sit for 20 to 30 minutes before heating.
4. Simmer gently:
• Slow cooker: 18 to 24 hours on low
• Stovetop: 10 to 12 hours on very low heat
5. Add barramundi wings during the final 3 to 4 hours of cooking.
6. Add optional herbs near the end of cooking.
7. Allow broth to cool slightly.
8. Carefully strain out all bones, cartilage, and fish pieces before serving.
